Matt Smith was awarded Australia’s No.1 sales agent by the Real Estate Institute of Australia at the National Awards for Excellence in 2025.

Having won the South Australian Salesperson of the Year 2024/2025 (a record five occasions in total), Matt is the highest-awarded real estate agent in the State.

Managing Director and co-owner of Klemich Real Estate, Matt offers 20 years of industry experience, which has seen him sell well over 1500 homes and receive numerous accolades as one of the State’s top auctioneers.

In November 2024, Matt was presented with the Sir Robert Torrens Award by the Real Estate Institute of SA – the highest honour that can be bestowed upon a real estate professional – for his notable leadership, vision & significant contribution to the industry.

Matt is a Board Member of the Real Estate Institute of South Australia (REISA) and the past President of the Society of Auctioneers and Appraisers (SAA)

Matt lives in the picturesque Adelaide Hills with his wife Lucy and their three children.
